I knocked 5 secs off of my 5k time. I got a 19:40 at the race for fallen officers.
Short-Term Running Goals:
I would like to get ready for a second marathon. I ran the top of utah in 3:42. That was good for me without training but I can do better. I want to be under 3 hours.
Long-Term Running Goals:
I want to be a sub 3:00 marathon runner.

I woke up early and ran with some of the guys from ROTC. We went 7 miles which i did in a little over 46 min 02sec. It was not a very fast pace but i ran with Isacc Bright so it was a good run. When we got back we did 100 push ups, 3 x 10 pullups, and some ab stuff.
I ran the first 5 in 40:45 at a regular pace. The second 5 was in 34:45. I ran fartleks. I ran hard for 1 min the 1 off, 2 on 2 off, 3 on 3 off, 4 on 3 off and back down. Before that run i swam for 30 mins as well. It was a really good run for me. I am trying to get 30-40 miles this week.
I ran with Sasha, Jeff, and Daniel. Good run. IT was slow but my legs have hurt alot from my previous workouts so it wasn't to comfortable. I am still trying to get the inflamation in my knee down. We ran in about 47:48. I had my first VPB #2. It was grand.
